Who We Are
This Forum was launched in 2025 at Waseda University’s Business and Finance Research Center, building on ten years of joint research with Ritsumeikan University. That work showed something important: Inamori Management isn’t just philosophy—it’s a practical, integrated way of thinking about business that can stand up internationally.
Our goal is simple:
- Help leaders use Inamori’s ideas in real organizations.
- Help researchers learn from what happens in practice.
We see this as a two-way street, where ideas inspire practice, and practice enriches ideas.
Our Team
The Forum is run by a small steering group of scholars who care deeply about bridging research and practice:
- Nobuhiko Hibara – Waseda University. Works on venture finance and effectuation.
- Atsushi Aoyama – Ritsumeikan University. Focuses on risk management and technology in business.
- Noriko Yamagishi – Ritsumeikan University. A neuroscientist studying gratitude, motivation, and engagement.

我们的目标很简单：
